Boston University Commencement, May 23 1999

It took a while, but 7 years after my friend Mike and I started our PhD programs at BU, Mike has finally received his doctorate in physics. (I left the program in 1994). Mike is now working on a postdoc at Lucent Technologies' Bell Labs in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Mike's girlfriend Oana also received a PhD in physics this year, and is spending the summer working at Brookhaven National Lab on Long Island, New York.
